Mat is an all around multi-instrumentalist freak. With his trumpet, guitar, keys or computer, he's at home in a bright span of styles ranging from quiet minimalistic to outrageously brutal , from complex written material to improvised music, from traditional forms to avant-garde experimentations. You probably heard him with Aly keita, Jazzsteppa, [trap], Kaizers orchestra among others. Original founding member of La force molle, he is the musical director and composer for ULUMIK, latest creation of the collective.
